Photo Diary: Best of Tijuana


One of my favorite cities on earth is neither beautiful by nature nor by design. It doesn’t photograph well and is hard to complement, even in words.
But I love it. Every pot hole and plastic bag. Every sun-bleached roof and graffiti-splattered wall. These photos are by no means beautiful images. They do little in the way of evoking the character and intrigue of this dynamic city. Instead they are photographs of my emotion, heart and sole, for this place.
