LA Street Style Day 3
After a 9-year absence, my fashionable friend Emma returned to LA from Japan this summer. I flew down from Portland to meet with her. Emma and I lived in LA in the mid-2000s and have a lot of good memories together. To honor our friendship, I dug through my closet and picked out a few dresses that I bought back in 2006-2008 when we lived in Orange County together. This is a dress I wore 10 years ago, and one I haven't worn agin until this trip. All items pictured vintage and purchased at various stores around LA.

Dressed for Die Fledermaus
Haven't worn this dress in nine years. I bought it back in my late teens when I was obsessed with long-sleeve silk vintage dresses. Now long sleeved dresses are kind of note my thing, but I still love one. I'll probably try to wear it more often...

The Green Skirt Dilemma, Part 2
Okay, so this is the follow up to my first post about the Green Skirt Dilemma.
Basically, I had been determined to find a green skirt for a long time. I stumbled upon this awesome vintage one (which I had to take apart and re-design) only to realize that I had no idea what to wear with a green skirt. The color was so jarring it didn't seem to go with anything, so I decided to take an experimental route. Last time I paired it up with maroon and brown, and this time I tried a muted pink and back. Here are the results:
