End of summer dress

I'm pretty proud of the fact that I'm 5 months pregnant and still have not purchased any maternity clothes. I'm making due with loose-fitting presses and wearing my tunic open (since I can't button them). This is probably my last summer outfit for the season. Excited to see what the fall wardrobe has in store as I get bigger.

Summer Wedding

At an outdoor wedding in late summer, I wore a breezy vintage dress I bought in Japan five or so years ago. One sentimental thing I do at every wedding I attend is wear one piece of jewelry I got from my mother-in-law for my wedding. With this outfit I am wearing a gold necklace.

LA Street Style Day 2

After a 9-year absence, my fashionable friend Emma returned to LA from Japan this summer. I flew down from Portland to meet with her. Emma and I lived in LA in the mid-2000s and have a lot of good memories together. To honor our friendship, I dug through my closet and picked out a few dresses that I bought back in 2007-2008 when we lived in Orange County together. This is a dress I wore 10 years ago, and one I haven't worn agin until this trip. All items pictured vintage and purchased at various stores around LA.

This dress came from Squaresville in Los Feliz, and was originally made in the Soviet Union.

I also had the opportunity to wear a vintage coat I purchased that day at the Silver Lake farmer's market. When we went to the rooftop restaurant Perch, it was very chilly and I pulled my coat right out of the bag and put it on.
This coat is an authentic 1980s Nolan Miller.

As odd assortment

Running errands today and felt like wearing two things I've never worn before. Both Goodwill finds from the last few years. Never thought of putting them together, but I think it worked.

Leopard nights

Bought this leopard coat at a thrift store in LA about 8 years ago. I loved it when I found it - I had been looking for that exact coat for ...
