Callejón del Beso: When technology meets tradition

In Guanajuato folklore, this alley was once the place where two ill-fated lovers exchanged a simple kiss. Because of this kiss, their romance was discovered, and they were subsequently murdered on the balconies in this alley. Charming story.

Since that time, this narrow passage has been known as the Callejón del Beso, "Alley of the Kiss".

Legend says that if two lovers kiss on the third step for the alley, they will have seven years of good luck. Since my lover could not be with me in Mexico, I kissed this picture on my iPhone.
