Angkor Temple Profile: Elephant Terrace

Name: Elephant Terrace

Built: 12th  century

Distinctive feature:  two and a half-meter tall, 300 meter long terrace with elephants and garudas, horses, lions

Visitor's note: This impressive labyrinth is really a treat to explore. When we went, many tourists were outside taking pictures, but as we walked through the cool and quiet mazes, we were by ourselves. Take some time to experience this, instead of just passing it by.
