New Orleans is famous for it's signature Cajun dishes and I was excited to finally try it on my recent trip there this spring. Thanks to recommendations from several friends, I was able to curate a concise restaurant list.
1. Food I wished I had but didn't: Lobster mac and cheese
2. Food I had but wished I didn't: Krystal Burger, I was nostalgic for this Southern chain, but it turns out I grew out of fast food after all
3. What should have been on the list:
4. Biggest surprise: New Orleans Iced Coffee from French Truck!
5. Most delicious meal: Lamb at Israeli restaurant Shaya
