 Met up with a friend for happy hour and wore this new dress I bought at a vintage store in Tokyo from my trip in April. It is quite voluminous, so I belted it with a vintage Dior belt I've had since I was 13 years old.

Date night

We don't get out for dinner very often now with the baby - she goes to bed between 7:00 and 8:00pm so it's hard to go out before that. However, this particular night my mother watched her. As an ode to my mom, I wore this old tacky vintage dress of hers to the restaurant, and tried to dress it up a bit.

Ghostland

I recently started working the door of a ghost-themed performance event and this was my outfit at the premier. I went for an ulta-goth look and combined dresses and skirts and belts to create the mishmash of black that you see.

Tokyo Street Style

The purpose: trip to Tokyo

The setting: July, middle of summer 99% humidity and 100 degrees. 

The challenge: light breathable layers that I could mix-and match for new looks each day (this stuff has to fit into a suitcase after all).

Another Holiday Party

My partner's company held their annual holiday past this past week. I took this opportunity to wear an old vintage dress I purchased in Oslo, Norway back in 2011. It's been sitting my closet all these years, but if you think that's a long time to keep something unworn, check out this Dior belt I bought when I was 12 years old.
